CHOOSING YOUR CLASSES FOR THE 2014-2015 SCHOOL YEAR
In an effort to reduce costs and save trees, we have made our curriculum guide available online. If you do not have internet access at home, you may pick up a printed copy in the Main Office or in the Counseling Center.

HS Flex: What is it?
Summit high school’s flexible learning options include a wide variety of choices for all Summit students. From on-line courses to blended onsite classes to mixed-use scheduling choices, to mobile-ready, tech-rich instruction models, to highly personalized smaller learning communities, to integrated adaptive-release remediation software tools - Summit offers every student access to college-prep and career-prep curriculum and experiences. Our flexible options leverage technology so that our world-class staff can provide even more guided, and personal support for every learner.
Forecasting for current Summit students will take place as follows:
All Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors will have their class meeting will be on Mar. 12th. At these meetings you will be given: a copy of your transcript, a forecasting sheet, helpful tips on which classes to pick depending on your grade AND instructions on how to pick your classes through StudentVue. The deadline to pick your classes online is March 31st. If you miss this deadline you'll need to make an appointment with your counselor to pick your classes.
Forecasting for incoming 9th grade students will take place as follows:
Our counselors will be visiting some of the area middle schools to forecast with our incoming 9th graders. If your student misses meeting with our counselors during their visit, just follow these steps:
1. Download the 2014-2015 Curriculum Guide
2. Print a copy of the 9th Grade Forecasting Sheet. Use this with the Curriculum Guide to select your students classes for next year.
3. Turn your forecasting sheet in to the Counseling Secretary at your school and they will send it to us.
