The PSAT (Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test) for all college bound juniors and college bound sophomores who have a 3.0 GPA and are currently enrolled in geometry, will be given on Saturday, Oct. 18th at Summit High School. The cost for the PSAT is $20.00. Sophomores: please be advised that it's best to have completed Geometry BEFORE taking the PSAT.
The PSAT is divided into verbal, math and writing skills. This test is a preparation for the more widely known SAT test. College bound juniors will take the SAT this spring in May or June. The test results can be used by parents/students/counselors as a guide for college selection. The PSAT is also a first step for the National Merit Scholarships.
